OVER THE WALL-BERLIN MARCH 2006
In the Spring of 2006 Germany was preparing to host the Football World Cup, the first global sporting event to be held there since the country's reunification in 1990. The urban regeneration for this event was especially apparent in Berlin, a city split with the construction of the wall in 1961.
The iconic landmarks of this separation are now tourist hotspots, but beyond these areas are architectural echoes can seem fixed in some form of timeless lament, holding on to the last vestiges of the east west divide.
